- Perform tests to verify the safety and functionality of automotive systems and components
- Diagnose issues by identifying the relevant systems or components
- Conduct test drives for assessment and check/refill fluid levels as necessary
- Maintain proper tire pressure and clean/lubricate fittings when required
- Replace oil drain plugs and filters, communicating oil levels to colleagues
- Ensure accurate and efficient diagnosis and repair of vehicles
- Proactively replace worn components to prevent vehicle breakdowns
- Utilize various tools, including power tools and manual equipment, for diverse tasks
- Comprehensive understanding of automotive systems and strong diagnostic abilities
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a commitment to self-improvement
- Aptitude for learning new technologies, repair techniques, and service standards
- Experience with electronic diagnostic tools
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- ASE Certification or Technical degree (preferred)
- At least one year of experience in an automotive service environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
