Physician/Hospitalist Opportunity in Western Pennsylvania

**Job Summary**
We are currently seeking a skilled Hospitalist to join our team at a top hospital system in Western Pennsylvania. As a Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide direct patient care and management in a hospital setting
- Work collaboratively with residents and medical students to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
- Manage patient census and workload to ensure efficient and effective care
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours coverage as needed
**Requirements**
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Completion of a residency program in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Current licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- An established hospitalist program at a teaching hospital with residents and medical students
- A very manageable patient census with residents and medical students
- Central and arterial lines and vent management for some patients
- Consideration for IM or FM residency-trained physicians
- Final year residents welcomed
