Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and oversee the property's preventative maintenance protocols for guest accommodations, kitchen areas, equipment, public spaces, landscaping, and overall building integrity.
  • Foster and maintain effective communication with all departments to identify maintenance requirements and ensure prompt resolutions.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of all building systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, kitchen fixtures, and internet infrastructure.
  • Respond courteously and helpfully to inquiries, complaints, or requests from guests and team members, ensuring adherence to brand standards and a comfortable guest experience.
Essential Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of vocational training, military education, certification, or relevant experience in building maintenance trades such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Carpentry.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is required, with hotel experience being highly preferred.
  • Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Stay informed about technological advancements and safety protocols, providing recommendations for new practices.
  • Demonstrated understanding of security and safety programs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, including time management, multitasking, and prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all hotel departments, external vendors, and guests.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
