About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Rogers Behavioral Health. As a key member of our Environmental Services team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Professionalism:
- Comply with all hospital policies and procedures, including dress code and confidentiality requirements.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors in a respectful and professional manner.
- Follow all directions from the Environmental Services Manager or Director.
- Multidisciplinary Function:
- Assist staff with agitated patients and participate in patient room searches as needed.
- Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members.
- Document completed work using established systems.
- General Housekeeping:
- Provide complete cleaning and sanitation of designated areas, including bathrooms, offices, and patient/resident rooms.
- Sort and transport clean linens to storage areas and gather and dispose of recyclable materials.
- Transport dirty linen to laundry pick-up areas and maintain a clean and stocked linen storage area.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous cleaning experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of specialized cleaning equipment is strongly preferred.
