Exercise Physiologist

We are seeking an experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our Pulmonary Rehabilitation team at UCHealth. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will be responsible for developing exercise prescriptions, overseeing exercise progression, and performing diagnostic tests for patients with pulmonary conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and assess patient tolerance of exercise, treating and documenting any adverse reactions.
- Provide exercise prescriptions based on patient assessment data, medication regimen, and current health status.
- Recognize contraindications to exercise and respond appropriately to abnormal patient responses.
- Deliver exercise and disease management education to patients, peers, and the community.
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or a related field.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
