Role Summary: We are in search of a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Tax Associate to enhance our professional team. This position involves assisting clients with their tax strategy and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, exceptional communication abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and evaluate individual, corporate, and partnership tax filings.
- Review individual, trust, estate, S corporation, partnership, and state returns prepared by our tax experts.
- Conduct research and analysis of tax legislation and regulations.
- Support clients with their tax strategy and compliance requirements.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and colleagues.
- Keep abreast of updates in tax legislation and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation and planning, including trust and small business returns.
- Strong understanding of tax legislation and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
