Job Overview

As a seasoned Automotive Technician at CarMax, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive high-quality vehicles. With your expertise, you will diagnose and repair complex issues, guaranteeing a safe driving experience for every customer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspection and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance tasks with precision and attention to detail, adhering to our high standards of quality.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to share knowledge, resolve technical challenges, and achieve exceptional results.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, heating and air conditioning.
  • ASE Certification: Possession of ASE Certification in Brakes A4 and Steering & Suspension A5 (where required by State/Local law).
  • Skillset: Strong manual dexterity, physical stamina, and ability to lift heavy objects. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent required; formal education in automotive repair or related field preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, our benefits package includes paid time off, medical/dental coverage, 401k with company match, vehicle discount, and tuition reimbursement.
