About the Role:
The Transportation Engineering Specialist 2 will engage in various surveying activities, including:
- Leading field survey teams and overseeing both field and office survey operations.
- Utilizing advanced Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) systems.
- Creating Digital Terrain Models (DTMs) for infrastructure projects.
- Conducting complex calculations for survey control and boundary determinations.
- Operating field survey instruments and supporting ongoing construction initiatives.
- Performing additional related duties as necessary.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong understanding of land surveying and transportation principles.
- Experience with construction engineering methodologies.
- Proficient in CADD software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Able to interpret construction plans and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
