About the Role:

The Transportation Engineering Specialist 2 will engage in various surveying activities, including:

  • Leading field survey teams and overseeing both field and office survey operations.
  • Utilizing advanced Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) systems.
  • Creating Digital Terrain Models (DTMs) for infrastructure projects.
  • Conducting complex calculations for survey control and boundary determinations.
  • Operating field survey instruments and supporting ongoing construction initiatives.
  • Performing additional related duties as necessary.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong understanding of land surveying and transportation principles.
  • Experience with construction engineering methodologies.
  • Proficient in CADD software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to interpret construction plans and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
