About the Float Pool:
This specialized staffing pool is designed to provide supplemental nursing support in areas where staffing levels may be insufficient to meet patient care demands. Opportunities are available for both full-time and part-time positions, with eligibility for participation in the clinical ladder and various committees throughout the organization.
Compensation and Benefits:

Job Responsibilities:
As a vital member of the patient care team, the RN is responsible for providing safe, age-appropriate care and serving as a resource for patients and their families.
Qualifications:
- Required: Telemetry experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience across multiple departments
- Basic professional knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree
- Current Maryland Registered Nurse License
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and ACLS
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Certification in NRP for WICU, M/B L&D
- PALS Certification for ED, PACU, PEDS, PICU, & CDCR
Work Schedule:
Float Pool staff will adhere to a 6-week scheduling system, which includes a weekend commitment of 4 shifts, 3 major holidays, and 2 difficult-to-staff days.
