We are seeking a highly skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team at The Boyd Group. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by expertly assessing and repairing vehicles to restore them to their pre-accident condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Excellent Customer Service: Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality repairs and providing a positive experience.
- Assess and Repair Vehicles: Thoroughly inspect and repair vehicles to restore them to their pre-accident condition, using various tools and techniques.
- Meet Repair Time Guidelines: Complete work orders within labor time guidelines to maintain efficiency and productivity.
- Inspect and Test Repairs: Inspect and test repairs to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other repairers in the auto body shop to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; successful completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to read job orders, work with minimal supervision, and possess a thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present, lift up to 30 pounds, visually inspect vehicle damage, and bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
