Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical Care Unit at VCU Health. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and respect, adhering to VCU Health's values and standards.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible for compact state licensure.
  • 1-3 years of clinical experience, depending on level of certification.
  • Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher) from an accredited program.
  • Certification in specialty area (optional).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Academic Health Care Experience.
  • Experience with similar patient population in either an acute care setting or as applicable to area of practice.
