Emergency Department & Consultation Services

  • Deliver psychiatric care to patients in the emergency department holding unit.
  • Focus on adult patients aged 18 and older.
  • Engage in a collaborative work environment with a double coverage model, featuring a 7 on - 7 off schedule.
  • Work 10-hour shifts with a manageable daily caseload of approximately 15 patients per physician.
  • Participate in shared rotating night call responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with a team of psychiatrists who prioritize teamwork and patient-centered care.
  • Mentorship opportunities available for psychiatric residents.
  • Board certification is required (board eligibility accepted for recent graduates).
  • California medical license and DEA registration are necessary.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Annual salary of $379,924.20 for full-time W-2 employees on a 7 on / 7 off schedule.
    • Salary includes an additional $440.00 per night for shared rotating night call.
