Sapphire Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing, a prestigious 5 Star skilled nursing facility, is actively seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to fill the role of Certified Nursing Assistants for various shifts. We are looking for individuals who aspire to a meaningful career that enhances the lives of others. Under the guidance of professional staff, our CNAs deliver essential nursing care to residents and assist with their personal comfort and well-being needs. All newly hired CNAs in the nursing department will be eligible for a sign-on bonus upon successful completion of the probationary period.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting residents with personal hygiene and comfort
  • Supporting meal service and feeding
  • Facilitating resident repositioning and transfers
  • Accompanying residents during mobility and transportation
  • Accurately recording fluid intake and output
  • Monitoring resident weight
  • Maintaining detailed activity records
  • Assisting with admissions, discharges, and end-of-life care
  • Responding promptly to resident call lights
  • Providing perineal and colostomy care
  • Reporting observations to the healthcare team
  • Taking vital signs and ensuring cleanliness in resident areas
  • Preparing rooms for housekeeping after resident discharge

Qualifications:

Valid NY CNA Certification

Preferred experience in Long Term Care

Recent graduates are encouraged to apply

Willingness to participate in training
