Physical Therapist PT

Spaulding Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist PT to provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans, educate patients and families, and manage technical, environmental, and financial resources efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate physical therapy needs according to organizational and professional guidelines.
- Develop and revise treatment plans based on patient progress and discharge plans.
- Document patient information in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to facility and practice guidelines.
- Orient, train, and mentor therapy and healthcare students to achieve performance expectations.
- Identify and implement performance improvement opportunities to promote best practices.
- Participate in additional department, organization, or network activities aligned with established objectives.
- Embody Spaulding Rehabilitation's values of Innovation, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.
Education/Degree
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Required
- Licensed (and in good standing) as a physical therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Required
- BLS certification.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Basic math and computer science skills.
- Knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques for managing the rehabilitation population.
- Problem-solving skills for physical therapy evaluation, interpretation, treatment planning, and execution, considering patient age, psychosocial, cultural, and religious background.
- Teaching skills for self-assessment of learning needs, strengths, and professional goals.
- Ability to execute job responsibilities safely without risking injury to self or patients.
- Computer proficiency, with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
- Flexibility to maintain a variable work schedule, including evenings, holidays, weekends, and travel.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and contribute as a member of a team.
- Anticipation of challenges and development of strategies for addressing them.
- High level of service delivery, with initiative, prioritization, and adaptability.
- Attention to detail.
