Job Summary

Ambercare, an Addus family company, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our fast-growing hospice team in Belen. As a CNA with Ambercare, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities as a CNA with Ambercare will include:
  • Providing personal care to patients, including bathing, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, and changing bed linens
  • Assisting patients with dressing and undressing
  • Planning and preparing nutritious meals, including shopping and feeding the patient
  • Observing and reporting on patient skin health to prevent tissue breakdown
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
  • Certification as a nurse aide by the state
  • Current CPR certification
  • Listing on the state aide registry with a clear record
  • 18 years of age (unless state law dictates otherwise)
  • Valid driver's license with automobile insurance that meets state requirements

Earn Up to $18/Hourly
