We are seeking a highly skilled Life Insurance Agent to join our team at NYL - Melville. As a Life Insurance Agent, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve their financial goals by providing exceptional customer service and insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized customer service to new and existing clients, including onboarding, policy management, and claims processing.
- Assist policyholders with insurance claims, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
- Identify new business opportunities by analyzing client needs, risk, and financial situations.
- Develop and maintain databases, records, and bookkeeping to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Build and maintain a network of prospective clients through referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies.
Requirements
- Must reside in the New York metropolitan area.
- Candidates with an active Life & Health insurance license are strongly preferred.
- Background in the health insurance or life insurance industries is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary.
- A high school diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree is a plus.
