Job Overview

Objective

The primary aim is to proficiently assist the Quality Assurance division by conducting thorough investigations into root causes and implementing corrective measures for various quality-related challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with sales teams and dealer networks to swiftly identify and relay field issues to the relevant manufacturing and R&D personnel.
  • Examine warranty data to uncover trends and significant changes.
  • Inspect returned warranty components to ascertain failure modes, which may involve disassembly and detailed examination of those parts.
  • Collaborate closely with Manufacturing and Manufacturing Engineering during the introduction of new products to avert quality issues through Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) tools, including PFMEA, Control Plans, and Measurement System Analysis.
  • Work alongside Manufacturing Engineering to create error-proof processes that ensure built-in quality.
  • Initiate and support containment actions both internally and externally to establish product clean points and guarantee the shipment of certified products to clients.
  • Lead the assessment of risks associated with product defects that are identified, determining appropriate actions for suspected units in circulation.
  • Compose bulletins for enhancements or corrections to field units (technical bulletins).
  • Collaborate with related departments to propose and implement corrective actions for warranty claims in the market.
  • Facilitate problem-solving sessions with other departments to identify root causes and corrective actions for quality issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to the quality control team, manufacturing, and other departments as necessary.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or prior experience in a Quality Engineering position.
  • Strong mechanical understanding.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Proficiency in English and clear writing skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative with the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel as required, including international travel.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience in design engineering or production/manufacturing engineering/agricultural mechanization.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies such as 5-why, Ishikawa/fishbone diagrams, and 8D.
  • Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience with APQP.
  • Previous knowledge of tractors or other heavy machinery.
