This position requires flexibility to work both morning and evening shifts, including potential overnight training as necessary.
Key Duties Include:
- Warmly greet guests and facilitate the registration process, which involves inputting and retrieving information, confirming guest details and room rates, selecting accommodations, coding electronic keys, and providing essential information about the hotel.
- Assist guests during check-out, ensuring accurate billing and processing payments through various methods, including credit and debit cards.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel offerings, including room types, rates, promotions, and local attractions, to effectively respond to guest inquiries.
- Utilize upselling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize occupancy rates.
- Address guest requests and concerns promptly and courteously, striving for complete satisfaction.
- Manage guest messages and communications efficiently.
- Participate in hotel meetings and training sessions as required.
- Adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with some college coursework preferred. Candidates must possess prior guest service experience, ideally in a hospitality environment. Applicants should be at least 18 years old and demonstrate the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a team-oriented approach.
Skills Required:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
