Job Opportunity

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in a warehouse environment. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move inventory, maintaining and cleaning the equipment, and tracking the location of goods using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift to move inventory and materials within the warehouse
  • Maintain and clean the forklift to ensure optimal performance
  • Track the location of goods using the WMS
  • Perform manual jobs directed by the warehouse supervisor or team lead

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of forklift experience
  • Ability to count accurately when moving inventory
  • Ability to read scales
  • Ability to operate in tighter confined spaces with a forklift
  • Forklift certification preferred

Work Environment:

This role operates in a warehouse environment where steel toe work boots and long pants are required. The position involves tasks such as professional operation of the forklift, maintaining and cleaning the forklift, tracking the location of goods using the WMS, and performing manual jobs directed by the warehouse supervisor or team lead. The work environment also involves exposure to common allergens like weed pollen, corn pollen, and corn dust.
