Lunar Lander Integration Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lunar Lander Integration Supervisor to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our spacecraft assembly team, you will be responsible for overseeing the integration of our lunar landers, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities- Setup and manage new production work areas, including tooling and equipment.
- Assist with the transition from development to production, including first articles.
- Perform second-party verifications and hardware inspections to engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written procedures.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct malfunctions by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control.
- Operate various material handling equipment, including forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, and other ground support equipment as required.
- Setup and operate a wide range of precision calibrated tools, including torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser trackers, height gauges, and optical measuring instruments.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance functions, such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 5S, FOD, and ESD.
- Work a shift schedule of 600p-600a, Friday-Sunday, and be willing to work off-shift, extended hours, overtime, and holidays as needed.
- High School diploma or GED.
- 10+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or a related field.
- Ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, work instructions, and test procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to lift items up to 50lbs and work in small, restricted areas.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
- Industry certification, trade school training, or a degree in a related field.
- A&P License.
- Prior military experience.
- Space TEC Certification.
- Experience working in a dynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilities.
- Experience with fluids, installs, and testing, including tubing, valves, hoses, and instrumentation.
- Experience with avionics assemblies, build, and checkout.
- Experience with aerospace/launch vehicle assembly.
- Clean Room Experience.
- ESD awareness.
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems.
- Experience with assembling large, tight-tolerance structural items.
- Precision hand drilling.
- Power feed drill motors.
- Structural sealants, primers, and paints.
