Position Overview:
The Restaurant Crew Member plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the establishment by executing various tasks and responsibilities within the venue, which include Customer Interaction, Food Preparation, Maintaining Cleanliness, and Collaborating with Team Members.
Key Responsibilities:
The Crew Member is expected to thrive in a dynamic environment, deliver prompt service, engage with customers, and work alongside fellow team members to accomplish assigned tasks. Adherence to all safety and security protocols is essential, along with fulfilling additional duties as directed by the Management Team.
Work Schedule: Flexible shifts available including Day, Night, and Mid Shifts.
Core Duties:
- Participate in the training program to acquire new skills and responsibilities.
- Follow instructions from the Management Team and maintain a respectful demeanor.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding any need for further training or assistance.
- Recognize how each task affects customers, the team, and overall restaurant performance.
- Welcome customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages with a consistently positive attitude.
- Collaborate with teammates to prepare menu items while adhering to cooking guidelines and safety standards.
- Effectively communicate with team members and management to address any interpersonal challenges.
- Utilize kitchen equipment such as fryers and warmers as required.
- Ensure cleanliness of the restaurant by clearing tables, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Address customer concerns and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to the uniform policy.
- Comply with company guidelines for food and cash management to minimize costs.
- Focus on performance and understand expectations and results.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Current student or high school diploma/GED.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced setting.
- Capability to lift and bend comfortably.
- Ability to work in close quarters and around heat sources.
- Maintain a positive attitude while performing all tasks.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction and viewing operations from the customer's perspective.
- Strong communication skills with teammates and management.
- Excellent time management abilities.
Transportation & Accessibility:
- Reliable transportation to the workplace is required.
- Must have a means of communication with management and team members.
