Responsibilities:
The staff nurse is responsible for delivering nursing care to patients across the lifespan, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The nurse operates within the organization's policies and procedures, demonstrating professional growth and accountability. Responsibilities include maintaining practice standards and coordinating patient care activities among assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum Experience: New graduates of a nursing program are eligible
- Licensure/Certification: Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia; BLS certification required
- Additional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced certification in specialty area, if applicable
