As a primary care provider at AdventHealth Ottawa, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare services to patients and families. Your focus will be on health maintenance, disease prevention, patient education, and counseling. You will work under the supervision of a physician, following established guidelines and within the scope of practice for your discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform physical exams on patients of all ages
Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic illnesses
Encourage positive health behaviors through education and counseling
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan optimal patient care
Requirements:
Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
Eligibility for Medicare program as a provider
Two or more years of experience
