Job Summary:
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing routine and specialized imaging procedures utilizing ionizing radiation, adhering to established professional and departmental standards. You will produce high-quality computerized tomography images for physician diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compassionately assist and position patients on the CT table.
- Initiate IVs for contrast injection as needed.
- Evaluate image quality and make necessary adjustments.
- Provide patients with proper post-procedure instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness and aseptic technique in the examination room.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols.
Qualifications:
We prefer candidates who are graduates of an accredited AMA program or hold a degree in Radiology Technology. You must obtain registration as a Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) and Registered Radiographer (ARRT) within one year of employment. BCLS certification is required within 30 days of hire. Experience in CT scanning is preferred, and on-call availability is necessary.
