At Florida Crystals, we are committed to excellence in our operations. As a Packaging Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for improving the efficiency, safety, and quality of our packaging equipment in the Production Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacturing Efficiency: Improve the manufacturability of products and packaging equipment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work with operations to continuously improve packaging lines and equipment.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and improve new and existing equipment.
  • Project Management: Manage and engineer approved projects through to completion.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate ideas and concepts to peers, subordinates, and leadership.

Qualifications:

Experience: 2+ years in a manufacturing/industrial environment in an engineering capacity.

Education: BS/BA in mechanical, civil, or electrical engineering or similar discipline such as industrial engineering.

Skills: Fundamental understanding of electrical design practices, control systems integration, electro-mechanical drive systems, and safety.
