Laboratory Technician Role Overview

The Laboratory Technician will play a crucial role in performing standard laboratory evaluations in accordance with their expertise. Additionally, they will support specialized initiatives as required while ensuring a sanitized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide around-the-clock on-call assistance during assigned shifts
• Drive a half-ton vehicle to various job sites and field locations
• Maintain a valid Class 'C' driver's license
• Manage cylinders and laboratory apparatus weighing up to 70 lbs
• Complete essential documentation and reports
• Clarify procedures and methodologies to clients
• Execute laboratory evaluations and employ diverse instruments
• Generate reports utilizing various software tools
• Work under varying weather conditions and in potentially hazardous settings
• Remain informed about safety protocols and organizational policies
• Be prepared to respond to emergencies and assist colleagues as necessary
