Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

 

About the Job:

Darling Ingredients is seeking a highly motivated and organized Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of raw materials and ensuring timely delivery to customers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the transportation of raw materials from suppliers to customers
  • Plan and optimize routes to minimize delays and costs
  • Monitor vehicle performance and ensure regular maintenance
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers
  • Manage and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless logistics operations
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in logistics or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of transportation management systems and logistics software
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred

 

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
