Job Summary

The Busser is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room by clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables efficiently. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear and reset tables efficiently before, during, and after service periods to maximize table turns and maintain restaurant flow.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers and proper table set-ups.
  • Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned areas and side stations.
  • Work as a team to assist guests and team members with their needs and inquiries.
  • Ensure that all necessary stock is replenished during the shift.
  • Respond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Clean and dry spills immediately upon occurrence.
  • Move furniture as directed by management.
  • Ensure that any breakage is reported and recorded.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.
  • Complete opening/running/closing side work duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • 18+ years of age.
  • Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards.
  • Minimum of one (1) year related experience.
  • Proper lifting techniques.
  • Guest relations.
  • Sanitation and safety.
  • Full service restaurant operations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff, clients, and the public.

  • Work indoors and/or outdoors, exposed to hot and/or cold surfaces, steam, and wet floors.
  • Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, and smoke, the severity of which depends upon guest volume.
  • Fast-paced, high-volume, full-service restaurant.
  • Work varied shifts to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
