Respiratory Therapist CRT PRN Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist CRT PRN to join our team at HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist CRT PRN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply and operate acute care ventilators for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation
  • Maintain accurate department and hospital records, entering information into the hospital computer as needed
  • Set up and administer routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures for patients of all ages
  • Work independently in the absence of the full-time Team Leader
Requirements:
  • Completion of a Vocational/Technical program or an AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree); Bachelor Degree preferred
  • Current Florida State License (CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist
  • American Heart Association BLS healthcare provider certification
