About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Artist to join our team at Hollywood Casino Aurora. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality food to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of hot and cold food items, including meats, vegetables, and desserts.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety standards.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, and dishwashers.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Food Handler Certification required.
  • At least 2-3 years of high-volume food preparation experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare a wide variety of food items to standard in a high-volume, fast-paced operation.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
