Neuro/Stroke Registered Nurse Opportunity

Cleveland Clinic's Hillcrest Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neuro/Stroke team. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our experienced caregivers to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong foundation in nursing principles and a passion for delivering patient-centered care. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, TIA, seizures, and multiple sclerosis.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive evidence-based care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patients' conditions, including vital signs, medication administration, and laboratory results.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective care.
  • Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • One year of current acute care RN experience, with a focus on neurology or critical care.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
