Temple University Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Resident to join our team. As a Nurse Resident, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care plans under the direction of licensed physicians.
- Collaborate with patients, family members, and healthcare teams to individualize patient care.
- Direct nursing support staff in providing patient care according to nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
- Attend New to Practice (NTP) seminars and complete an evidence-based practice project.
Requirements:
- Confirmation of successful completion of the NCLEX exam.
- Less than 6 months of RN experience required to apply.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or commitment to obtain BSN within 4 years from date of hire.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- General experience in a hospital setting (preferred).
- RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License.
- BLS - Basic Life Support.
