Calibration Technician

Avispa Technology is seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to join our team. Candidates should possess a minimum of four years of relevant experience in the calibration and maintenance of electronic testing instruments. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and family-oriented workplace.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly wage: $21/hr
  • Employment type: W2, with comprehensive benefits including Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Retirement Savings Program, and Paid Sick Leave
  • Standard work hours: 40 hours per week, with an 18-month assignment duration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute customer service tasks with clear objectives, which may involve repetitive activities.
  • Address technical challenges of limited scope and complexity.
  • Conduct adjustments, calibrations, and basic repairs on equipment.
  • Refer more complex repair issues to senior technicians.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Uphold the highest standards of business ethics in all interactions.
  • Contribute consistently to team objectives and service center performance.
  • Utilize time and resources efficiently, maximizing existing assets and multitasking effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and fulfill commitments, promoting compliance with service protocols.
  • Communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders, initiating customer interactions as necessary.
  • Follow established production processes and take responsibility for meeting team production targets.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience in the calibration and repair of electronic testing equipment.
  • Relevant education, specialized training, certification, or military experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with automated calibration software platforms is advantageous.
  • Proficient in PC skills, particularly with MS Windows and Office applications.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrated competence in both electronic and mechanical systems.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, from 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM.
