We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse Navigator to provide exceptional care for patients within our Pulmonary office. Your primary role will involve educating patients and their families on preventive measures and promoting healthy lifestyle choices. The ideal candidate will be a skilled and responsible nursing professional capable of delivering high-quality care with minimal supervision. Adherence to health and safety protocols is essential to ensure the well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and monitor patients' conditions to deliver optimal care and guidance.
- Recognize and interpret symptoms, effectively communicating findings to physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to create tailored care plans for each patient.
- Conduct routine procedures such as blood pressure checks and administering injections, while maintaining accurate patient records.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Ensure the facility maintains high standards of hygiene and safety, including equipment decontamination and surface sanitization.
- Provide immediate medical assistance during emergencies.
- Assist surgical teams during procedures.
- Oversee and mentor Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).
- Create a nurturing and supportive environment for patients and their families.
- Enhance professional knowledge and skills through participation in workshops and conferences.
- Demonstrated experience as a registered nurse.
- Thorough understanding of nursing practices and procedures.
- Expertise in emergency care protocols.
- Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a commitment to compliance.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Compassionate and responsible approach to patient care.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Patience and effective problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from an accredited nursing program.
- Valid nursing license in Pennsylvania.
- Experience in Medical/Surgical or Critical Care settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Continuing education credits.
- Comprehensive dental, health, and vision insurance.
- Paid Time Off.
- 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
$30.00 per hour
