Responsibilities- Emergency Department: Provide direct patient care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Behavioral Health Unit: Care for patients with mental health and substance abuse issues, providing a safe and supportive environment for recovery.
- Critical Care: Work in a high-acuity setting, providing care to critically ill patients and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Charge Nurse: Assume leadership responsibilities, overseeing the daily operations of the unit and ensuring that patient care is delivered in a safe and efficient manner.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of acute care nursing experience, with a focus on emergency department, behavioral health, or critical care.
- Skills: Strong assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
- Leadership: Ability to assume charge nurse responsibilities and lead the team in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and defibrillation certification.
- Experience: Previous experience in emergency department, behavioral health, or critical care settings.
