Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Anders Group. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical expertise in a fast-paced catheterization laboratory environment.

Job Summary:

The Cath Lab Technologist will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth operation of the catheterization laboratory. This includes preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines, to capture high-quality images of the heart and blood vessels.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control protocols and disposing of biohazardous waste.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the smooth operation of the catheterization laboratory.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest procedures and technologies.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a related field, such as cardiovascular technology or radiologic technology.
  • Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of infection control protocols and safety procedures.
