Position Overview:
The role involves assisting in the acquisition and handling of patient samples, executing laboratory procedures with precision, including quality assurance and equipment upkeep, and delivering test outcomes.
Responsibilities may extend to conducting laboratory analyses in designated and non-designated areas to guarantee prompt delivery of test results for healthcare providers in their assessment and treatment of patients.
Key Qualifications:
- Completion of high school education or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a medical laboratory setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with clinical laboratory protocols and practices, laboratory equipment and testing techniques, medical terminology, infection control protocols, bloodborne pathogen safety measures, patient safety standards, and a fundamental understanding of CLIA regulations as they pertain to clinical laboratory operations.
