Job Title: Main Banker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Main Banker to join our team at Bally's Corporation. As a Main Banker, you will be responsible for operating the Main Bank, Fill Bank, Marker Bank, and Player Services Support Bank, ensuring the accuracy and security of assets assigned to the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accuracy and security of assets assigned to the bank.
  • Provide Fill/Credit Services for TGs, JP payout and re-supply for slots, kiosks, and slot booths.
  • Verify and accept drop funds from Soft Count.
  • Prepare daily external bank deposits.
  • Serve as central consolidation point for funds and paperwork for imprest banks and booths.
  • Maintain assigned bank in a neat, organized, and professional manner.
  • Assist patrons in credit application completion and marker issuance/payment.
  • Enroll guests into the casino tracking system.
  • Maintain accurate player tracking information.
  • Assist with all casino promotions and special events.
  • Complete all player services transactions, including enrollment, redemptions, tracking, card creation, etc.
  • Provide support services to the Box Office Supervisor by assisting guests with distribution of event tickets.
  • Issue redemptions to guests cashing in points.
  • Verify contents and accept responsibility of the bank.
  • Make cash-buys utilizing the correct procedure.
  • Report any system issues to the Manager.
  • Maintain knowledge of property information, including memorabilia.
  • Greet and assist guests regarding services and information and provide superior guest service.
  • Assist frontline cashiers with requests from guests as to comps, promotions, research, and adjustment of points, as well as assistance in Patron Management operations.
  • Work frontline as needed during high volume periods.
  • Break other banks when needed.
  • Maintain and conduct inventory of Encore Club supplies (card stock, ribbons, brochures, BOCA Tickets, Gifts, etc.).
  • Maintain brochure racks.
  • Upon direction of Shift Manager, bring up required supplies.
  • Run, review, and correct Bad Zip, New Member, Promotional, and other essential reports as directed by Shift Manager.
  • Ensure that current promotional, marketing collateral, and Promo Book is current, updated, and on hand.
  • Update the "Daily Board" with that day's events and promotions.
  • Handle the Double-Platinum Window and Ticket Sales during the shift.
  • Assist the Box Office on show days.
  • Assist with motorcoach manifests and greeting as directed by Shift Manager.
  • Maintain the spirit of Hard Rock and keep the work station in a neat, organized fashion.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or general education (GED).
  • Previous casino cage, credit, or players club experience required.
  • Previous cash handling experience required.
  • Must know and comply with requirements of Title 31 Bank Secrecy Act as pertains to Credit/Cage transactions.
  • Must possess basic computer skills and knowledge of casino computer systems, Microsoft applications, and timekeeping programs.
  • Data entry and typing skills preferred.
  • Ability to balance shift and cage.
  • Must have basic mathematical skills.
  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • A Mississippi Gaming Commission work permit is required for this position.
  • Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Must be very detailed-oriented.
  • Must project a professional and positive image.
  • Must have a high level of energy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deal with people in a manner that shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all Hard Rockers and guests.
  • Ability to understand and promulgate written memos, instructions, regulations.
  • Excellent telephone skills required.
  • Ability to function with minimum supervision and make effective decisions during the shift.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Training:

All employees are required to complete mandatory compliance training within thirty (30) days of hire date, then annually thereafter.
