About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Tech PRN to join our team at StoneSprings Hospital Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to psychiatric patients under the direction of the RN.
  • Assist with milieu management and perform job tasks to ensure personal, patient, and departmental safety.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with staff, physicians, management, external, and internal customers.
  • Lead or Co-Lead groups such as AM goal setting, PM wrap-up, and diversionary activities.
  • Assist Charge Nurses and Shift Supervisor in maintaining efficiency.
  • Complete clerical responsibilities.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures and support the Mission of the facility.
  • Pursue and take responsibility to enhance personal and professional growth.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
