Position Overview

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Float Pool dedicated to Women's & Children's Services, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, delivering exceptional care across various departments.

Employment Type: Full Time - 72 hours per pay period, 12-hour shifts

Shift Rotation: Day/Midnight rotation with holiday and weekend commitments as per guidelines

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be required to orient and work in the following areas:
  • Labor & Delivery (including PeriOperative within L&D)
  • Postpartum Care
  • Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for low acuity newborns
  • Inpatient Pediatric Care
Our Women's & Children's hospitals facilitate over 6,000 births annually and are equipped with a Level III NICU and a newly established Pediatric Emergent Care Center. We are committed to partnering with our community to provide compassionate and high-quality care.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required or a commitment to obtaining a BSN within three years of hire
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the specified Women's and Children's services is essential
  • Current certifications in BLS, NRP, and PALS are mandatory
  • ACLS certification is preferred
  • Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware is required
