About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll work closely with our healthcare providers to deliver high-quality patient care, ensure seamless clinical operations, and maintain a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and room patients, taking vital signs, reviewing medical history, and gathering information as needed.
  • Assist with referrals and prior authorizations, answer phone calls and messages, and use EPIC to support clinical operations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide holistic patient care and promote positive outcomes.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of medical experience or completion of a medical assistant program, with a nationally recognized certification or registration preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a science or health-related field is an asset.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification is essential; ongoing education and professional development are encouraged.
