Empowering Voices in Middle School

Soliant Education is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in the Roseville, PA area. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the communication development of middle school students in a nurturing school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify communication needs in middle school students.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans to address students' individualized communication goals.
  • Provide individual and small group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of middle school learners.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective communication strategies for supporting students in the classroom and school environment.
  • Consult with other professionals involved in student support services to ensure a cohesive approach to meeting students' needs.
  • Monitor student progress, analyze data, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Pennsylvania State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Prior experience working with middle school students in a school setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of adolescent development, speech and language development in the middle school years, and evidence-based assessment and intervention practices.
  • Expertise in conducting speech and language evaluations for middle school learners, developing individualized therapy plans, and utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques specifically tailored to this age group.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, teachers, administrators, and other school staff.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, report writing, and maintaining student confidentiality.
  • A passion for promoting communication development and advocating for students with diverse communication needs.
