United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI) is seeking a highly skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and service during surgery cases.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care and service during surgery cases, positioning patients, prepping patients, and circulating cases.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain scrupulous infection control standards and professional competencies.
- Provide basic care needs to patients under the direction of a RN.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum of two (2) previous OR experience preferred.
- Current Arizona Nursing License.
- Current CPR, ACLS certified.
- Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
- Possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.
- Ability to care for patients from adult to geriatrics.
- Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to operating room nurse.
- Clinically proficient in operating room nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the developmental needs of the young adult, adult and geriatric patient.
8 hours, 10 hours or 12 hours
USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
