Navarro College is seeking a highly qualified Associate Professor to join our nursing faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching nursing courses, developing curriculum, and assessing student learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Teach nursing courses to students in a variety of settings, including classroom and clinical environments.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the College's mission and goals.
- Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback to students.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Engage in professional development activities to stay current in the field of nursing education.
- Masters degree in Nursing.
- Current licensure in the State of Texas.
- Evidence of teaching abilities and clinical expertise in subject area of teaching responsibility.
- Teaching experience in an entry-level nursing program.
- Experience with clinical simulation.
- Prior teaching experience in a community college environment.
- Variances from regular working hours may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
- Busy working environment with numerous interruptions.
