Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team at Ochsner Health. As a key member of our Autism Services team, you will be responsible for providing direct, one-to-one treatment for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, develop, and monitor patient treatment plans to remediate communication, academic, social, and behavioral skills.
  • Provide direct, therapeutic services to patients via parent skills training, direct one-to-one therapy, and/or group social skills training.
  • Supervise ABA Line Technicians and provide personalized at-home guidance for parents and caregivers.
  • Adapt behavior to the specific patient population, including respect for privacy, method of introduction, and communication style.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology or Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • 1-year experience in the provision of direct patient services in a social service, mental health, rehabilitation facility, or related allied healthcare setting.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst obtained through Behavior Analyst Certification Board and Licensed Behavior Analyst through Behavior Analyst Board in the state of practice.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • Computer skills and dexterity required for data entry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

This role will be working in a healthcare setting with potential exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous medications or waste.
