Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Sentara Northern VA Medical Center. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing MRI examinations while maintaining the safety and integrity of the MRI operational area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI examinations with precision and accuracy
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
  • Explain examination procedures to patients and complete departmental documentation
  • Manage supply inventory and maintain equipment

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in a Rad Tech position, including Radiologic Tech, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, or Ultrasound
  • Completion of MRI school or MRI certificate program, or graduate of a 24-month program in radiologic technology
  • Six months of MR experience or completion of MR didactic program preferred
  • Certifications: CNMT, ARDMS, ARRT, or ARMRIT
