Position Overview:

In this role, you will contribute to the advancement of modern healthcare by applying your expertise, experience, and dedication to compassionate patient care. Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute respiratory procedures as directed by physicians across all patient care areas.
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement and revise therapy plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective and efficient care delivery, achieving optimal patient outcomes.
  • Apply knowledge of patient demographics and cultural diversity in the provision of care.
  • Uphold the organization's vision and mission while employing performance improvement techniques to enhance patient care delivery.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy is preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
  • High School Diploma is required; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (e.g., CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP) is mandatory.
  • Current state Licensure (RLT) in the applicable state of employment is required, along with CRT certification by NBRC.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
  • ACLS certification from the American Heart Association must be obtained upon hire or within 6 months.
  • NRP and PALS certifications are required upon hire or must be obtained within 6 months.

Physical Requirements:

This position involves medium work, requiring the ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly.
