Job Summary

Restaurant Depot is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Seafood Stocker to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse staff, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, stocking product on shelves, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service to internal and external customers
  • Stock product on shelves, including removing boxes from pallets and opening boxes to re-stock shelves
  • Organize and front-face items on shelves to ensure a visually appealing store environment
  • Perform regular inspections to meet HACCP regulations and ensure a safe working environment
  • Assist in reviewing inventory for product rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damages
  • Verify shelf pricing is accurate and reflects the most recent pricing
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following a regular maintenance schedule of scrubbing and pulling out pallets and cleaning underneath
  • Identify and report any safety hazards or spills to supervisors promptly
  • Work with Hi-Lo operators to ensure the selling floor remains stocked and safe by promptly returning overstock pallets to the overhead reserves
  • Inform supervisors of any low stock or out-of-stock merchandise
Physical Demands
  • Walk/stand on concrete for up to 10 hours/day
  • Frequently turn, stand, reach, stoop, and/or bend
  • Frequently push/pull objects 500 to 1,500 lbs.
  • Frequently lift/carry objects more than 60 lbs.
Work Environment
  • Frequently exposed to cold/freezing temperatures
  • Equipment in motion (forklifts, electric pallet jacks, scooters)
  • Perform other work-related duties as required and assigned
  • May be required to work in other departments as needed
