We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team at ProCare Therapy.
Compensation and BenefitsThe successful candidate will be offered a competitive hourly rate of $33-38 per hour, with the opportunity to work 22.5 hours per week on-site at an elementary school in Yelm, WA.
Job DescriptionThe Speech Language Pathologist Assistant will be responsible for providing support to speech therapists in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Assist speech therapists in developing and implementing individualized plans for students with communication disorders;
- Conduct observations and assessments to identify students' communication needs;
- Implement strategies to promote effective communication skills in students;
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents and teachers as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting;
- A valid SLPA license and teaching certification for Washington state;
- Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and colleagues.
In addition to a competitive salary and benefits package, we offer:
