The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families. As a member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing various patient care duties under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse or other medical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and record patient data, including vital signs and activities of daily living (ADL)
- Answer call lights and complete patient rounds
- Assist with completing and maintaining patient files and forms
- Provide patient personal hygiene and clean up
- Comply with Baylor Scott & White policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Compassion and empathy for patients in their most vulnerable moments
- Clear communication with patients and staff, both verbally and in writing
- A positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Teamwork and ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
